Principal Andrew Mey’s contributions to Freeman often go unnoticed. His job entitles many hours of work dedicated to the Freeman community, and he constantly works to improve the lives of so many students, faculty, and family.
In an official statement, Governor Ralph Northam declared the week of January 22-26, 2018 Virginia Principals Appreciation Week. This week serves as an opportunity to recognize the dedication of all Freeman’s principals.
Mr. Mey is not the only Freeman principal who deserves recognition; Associate Principal John Marshall, and Administrators Queen Bailey, Laura Hollowell, and Timothy Sanders continue to support the Freeman community every day.
While this single week is officially set aside to thank our principals for their contributions, every week should be used to express gratitude for their unending support.
